OET provides a valid and reliable assessment of all four language skills- Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking – with an emphasis on communication in medical and health professional settings.

There are 2 sections of this segment. The aspirant must listen to a conversation between a patient and a professional in Part A, and you ought to take notes about the interaction. You will hear a lecture from one person in Part B. You will be asked to answer questions about what you have heard in the form of multiple choices.
